This position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% remote and is based out of the Lakeville, MN, Sun Prairie, WI or Bloomington, IL office.

The contributions you will make:

This position is responsible for driving the successful planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives across the organization. Serves as the operational hub of the marketing team, ensuring projects move efficiently from intake through completion while maintaining alignment with business priorities, timelines, budgets, and resource availability. Oversees marketing workflows, project governance, and process improvement initiatives, while supporting cross-functional collaboration between marketing, sales, business technology, finance, and business unit stakeholders. Plays a critical part in enabling marketing effectiveness by providing visibility into project status, team capacity, and operational performance.

A typical day:



  • Leads the intake, prioritization, planning, and execution of marketing projects and campaigns, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and marketing objectives.
  • Manages multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives simultaneously, balancing competing priorities, dependencies, timelines, and resource constraints while maintaining focus on successful execution of strategic business objectives.
  • Owns and administers marketing work management processes and tools, driving adoption, governance, and continuous process improvement across the marketing function
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts by evaluating project outcomes, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, and implementing enhancements that improve team efficiency and delivery.
  • Proactively identifies risks, dependencies and delivery challenges, independently resolving complex issues with minimal supervision and escalating only the most critical challenges as needed.
  • Partners with marketing, sales, business, finance, and technology stakeholders to effectively coordinate cross-functional initiatives, approvals, and project execution, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provides leadership visibility into project status, priorities, resource capacity, and workload while managing multiple workstreams and maintaining focus on broader organizational goals.
  • Supports marketing planning, budget administration, resource management, and operational reporting to improve efficiency, accountability, and strategic alignment across teams.
  • Mentors less tenured team members on project management methodologies, best practices, and tools order to promote consistency, accountability, collaboration, and effective project execution.


The skills and experience we prefer you have:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, marketing operations, marketing coordination, or a related role supporting marketing teams and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing budgets, invoices, or financial reporting processes.
  • Experience within financial services, agriculture, or other regulated industries preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, including project planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource coordination.
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing operations, campaign planning, and cross-functional project coordination.
  • Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and project management skills with demonstrated ability managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive projects forward without direct authority.
  • Proficiency with CRM, marketing technology, and work management platforms such as CoSchedule, Workfront, Asana, Monday.com, Jira, or similar tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining focus on broader business and marketing objectives.

The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.
