Location: Melbourne, FL (Hybrid - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday on-site)
Employment Type: Direct hire

Compensation: $160K - $180K

About the Opportunity:
As a Proposal Manager, you will lead the development and submission of high-quality, compliant proposals that support competitive business opportunities across multiple Lines of Business. In this collaborative role, you'll coordinate the proposal process from planning through final delivery, working closely with cross-functional teams to produce compelling customer submissions. Success in this position requires exceptional organization, strong written and verbal communication skills, creativity, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage and oversee the entire proposal process from pre-RFP preparation, through solution preparation and writing, to final publication and submission
  • Track all proposal efforts, which may include work of proposal managers, writers, solutions architects, pricers, contracts personnel, and administrative support teams.
  • Support pre-RFP activities that directly relate to proposal creation.
  • Arrange the support from functional organizations
  • Arrange the facilities/resources
  • Work closely with Capture, Program, Technical Leads
  • Develop proposal specific info (e.g., proposal schedule, writing assignments, outlines, volume structures, proposal admin, etc.); and work with volume leads to develop Management and Technical volume outlines in accordance with RFP Bidder instructions

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical)/Operations
  • 8+ years of experience in project and proposal management lifecycles and Government Procurement/Capture/Proposal Management
  • 8+ years of experience using data analytics to generate estimates
  • 8+ years of experience writing BOE (Basis of Estimate)
What Sets You Apart:
  • Master's degree Engineering (electrical or mechanical)/Operations
  • Defense industry experience
  • Ability to handle approximately 10 proposals at a time
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective team building approach
  • Excellent oral and technical writing abilities
