Position Overview
| Primary Purpose of Position |
The Temporary Part-Time Canvas Consultant supports Extended Campus by developing and maintaining a comprehensive Canvas training program for faculty and internal staff. The consultant works collaboratively with the Learning Design Consultant to support faculty onboarding, Canvas training, course development, course maintenance, Course Content Reviews (
CCR), Quality Assurance (QA), accessibility compliance, and instructional technology initiatives. The position also assists with onboarding Canvas Site Administration Training Specialists and creating standardized training resources to ensure continuity across Distance Education operations. Work Schedule:
- 9am-3pm
- 6-12 Months
- 20-25 Hours per Week

| Minimum Requirements |
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, or related field.
- Experience supporting Canvas LMS.
- Experience developing online instructional materials and delivering training.
- Strong project management and communication skills.

- Master's degree preferred.
- Higher education experience.
- Knowledge of Quality Matters, ADDIE, WCAG 2.1 AA, and ADA Title II.
- Experience with multimedia tools (Articulate, Rise, H5P, Camtasia, Panopto, Synthesia etc.).
