About the role: Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410 We're looking for a Fossil Plant Outage Planner on behalf of our client. This is a 6-months to 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will join the Central Maintenance Planning team to support overhaul planning of the Combined Cycle Power Generation Fleet. Routine interface with site personnel, fleet engineering, and the central maintenance organization. This position is planned to be based out of Palm Beach Gardens, but working from one of the Fossil Sites within Florida will be considered based on experience and capabilities of the candidate selected and requires hiring manager approval. Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410 6-months to 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) Key Responsibilities: This position requires the capacity to manage a large workload, flexibility when priorities shift, and drive to meet (or beat) established Major Maintenance Process commitments. This role will be responsible for development of job specific Mechanical Maintenance Work Order packages for Overhaul Projects by (but not limited to): * Performing jobsite walk-downs and scope validation * Supporting procurement of materials and services * Develop procedures for execution of work. * Establishing accurate work order cost and schedule estimates Qualifications: The following credentials are highly desired for the position: * Prior Power Plant Maintenance and Planning experience * Experience with IBM Maximo * Bachelor's in engineering * Technical procedure writing proficiency * Possession of a Quality Belt * Project Management Professional Certification Our Safety Pledge to You: If you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you! The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $42.00/hr to $52.00/hr.
