Position: Assistant Cafe Manager Location: Fox Point, WI Shift: 1 st shift, Sun-Thurs Pay ra ng e: $17-18/hour, + tips ($5.00 / hour average) Position Summary The Assistant Cafe Manager supports the Cafe Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Cafe. This role helps ensure outstanding customer service, high-quality food and beverages, efficient operations, and a positive, inclusive work environment for employees with and without disabilities. The Assistant Cafe Manager serves as the manager on duty when the Cafe Manager is unavailable. Responsibilities Assist with the daily operation of the cafe. Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns. Supervise, train, and support cafe staff and trainees. Help with scheduling and shift coverage. Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards are met. Assist with inventory, catering, and cash handling. Open and close the cafe as needed. Foster an inclusive, welcoming workplace that reflects the cafe's mission. Ability to work on many Sunday's Willingness to respond to respond to calls/texts or come in on off days to help cover for shortages Qualifications Previous cafe, restaurant, or retail leadership experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Organized, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods. Passion for teamwork, hospitality, and serving an inclusive community.
