We're looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Vital Statistics Specialist to ensure the accurate and timely processing of birth certificates and fetal death reports. In this vital role, you'll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the Vital Statistics Coordinator to maintain compliance with Missouri regulations while providing exceptional support to patients and families.

What You'll Do
  • Process birth certificates and fetal death reports accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to verify required information.
  • Educate families on birth registration, Social Security applications, paternity guidelines, and state requirements.
  • Assist with completing required documentation and forms.
  • Identify and resolve documentation issues while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Train staff and patients on vital statistics processes and regulations.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of clerical or data entry experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
