Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm


Salary: $20.00 - $22.50 based on experience



What work will you perform?


In this position, you will help ensure the accuracy of customer contracts, pricing, and transportation agreements that support contractual business within our nationwide logistics network. This role is perfect for someone with strong administrative experience who enjoys detailed work, solving problems, and collaborating across teams. You'll gain valuable experience interpreting transportation contracts, managing pricing and fuel surcharge information, and working with industry-leading systems while developing specialized knowledge in the transportation and logistics industry.


Essential Responsibilities:



  • Perform all duties related to initiation, updating, and maintenance of all transportation agreements, fuel surcharge addenda, rate and/or pricing schedules, accessorials (add on fees) and other customer requirement documents for both shipper and broker agreements
  • Create, upload, and maintain customer rates in Landstar's Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Update and maintain the weekly fuel surcharge for upload to Landstar Online
  • Interpret contracts, bill of ladings, and shipment confirmation language for corporate and field personnel
  • Research and resolve any issues related to pricing or fuel surcharge
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Experience and Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required


  • One year of customer support in an administrative setting


Preferred Experience and Qualifications:



  • One year of experience reviewing and interpreting contractual and/or legal documents.
  • One year of transportation experience
  • Combination of both


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and sorting/filtering
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and effectively manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines/turnaround times
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders independently or via direct supervisor.
  • Ability to look beyond assigned tasks to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support the team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure the accuracy and integrity of information.
