Coke Florida is looking for a Principal Enterprise Architect based out of our Tampa location. We're currently looking for first shift, working Monday through Friday from 8:30AM-5PM.



The Principal Enterprise Architect is responsible for enabling the technology vision, define architectural standards, and drive digital transformation by ensuring systems and technology decisions drive secure business value, scalability, resiliency, and future-proof supporting and leading the design, alignment, and governance of enterprise architecture strategy across our business units and affiliates (which encompasses a multi-company/division organization for a variety of businesses and business models). This role is accountable for shaping the long-term architecture vision for applications, enterprise platforms, services, and associated IT infrastructure. The role requires someone who can analyze trends, signals and disruptors in technology to improve the enterprise architecture to take advantage of them to meet ever evolving business needs. The Principal Enterprise Architect will serve as a trusted advisor to executives and IT leadership, bridging strategy and execution while leading cross-functional architecture efforts that unify business needs with technical capabilities. This role involves overseeing the architecture for enterprise-level systems.



Key Accountability Bullets:


Overall



  • Develop and maintain the overarching enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring technology investments directly support long-term business goals
  • Establish and enforce design standards, policies, and frameworks for data, security, infrastructure, and application development
  • In partnership with IT leadership, establish KPIs and performance metrics, generate reports and dashboards for insights, and monitor market trends.


  • Ensure that all technology solutions, platforms, and associated processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams and junior architects
  • Research emerging technologies, conduct proof-of-concepts, and champion digital transformation initiatives (e.g., cloud migration, data modernization) to drive innovation in support of business goals
  • Generate reports and dashboards for insights, performance, and operations



Enterprise Architecture Leadership



  • Own the enterprise architecture framework across the organization and partner with business units, balancing global standards with business-specific requirements.
  • Define and/or support multi-year roadmaps for applications, platforms, and networks, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Establish and enforce architecture principles, patterns, and standards to drive consistency, interoperability, and cost optimization.
  • Lead the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and ensure projects adhere to enterprise design standards.
  • Align technology investments with cloud strategies, hybrid models, and security frameworks
  • Drive automation, resilience, and monitoring standards across infrastructure platforms



Infrastructure Services (e.g. Network, Compute, Storage, Cloud, AI, Applications & Platforms)



  • Guide the adoption and integration of cloud applications (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and enterprise network, cyber security, data, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) architectures to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing operations
  • Define strategies for platform consolidation, modernization, and interoperability.
  • Partner with application owners to rationalize the portfolio and reduce technical debt.
  • Ensure data and application architectures support scalability, analytics, and compliance.



Business Partnership & Governance



  • Act as a strategic advisor to Technology tower leadership, translating goals into technology blueprints.
  • Facilitate cross-unit collaboration to identify shared platforms and services.
  • Provide executive-level updates on technology roadmaps, architecture decisions, and risk posture.



Mentorship & Thought Leadership



  • Stay ahead of industry trends in cloud, network, and platform evolution, recommend adoption strategies.


  • Represent enterprise architecture in executive forums, vendor discussions, and strategic initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain the overall enterprise architecture and long-term vision/strategy for solutioning, including associated system landscapes and diagrams.
  • Develop and publish architectural standards.

Skills & Other Requirements


Qualified candidates must possess:



Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred) or equivalent experience



Experience:



  • 12+ years in IT with 7+ years in enterprise or solution architecture.
  • Proven architectural leadership across multi-business unit organizations.
  • Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms, enterprise platforms, and enterprise networking.
  • Strong background in application integration, cloud adoption, and infrastructure design.



Skills:



  • Executive communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to translate complex technology into clear business value.
  • Strong governance and decision-making capabilities.
  • Track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Preferred Certifications: TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, ITIL, or equivalent.
