This position is designated as a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon. The current expectation is for employees to work onsite four days per week, subject to change based on business needs. This in-office requirement may be adjusted at the discretion of the company.

The eCommerce team powers our US and Canada Columbia.com sites as well as our Customer Care Center. From merchandising and marketing to product management and technology, the consumer is at the center of everything we do. The Site Content Specialist I supports the overall ecommerce content objectives for the Columbia NA websites. This person executes content setup and validation, communicating with key stakeholders throughout the process. The individual also assists with facilitating workflow and makes independent decisions in their day-to-day work to achieve timely and accurate content launches.

HOWYOU'LLMAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Sets up and executes website content updates for Columbia US and Canada websites. Monitors production cycles to facilitate timely go-live.

  • Participates in engagement with vendors and internal members to pass off files for site content to be built in Amplience platform prior to configuration.

  • Configures, adds links, tracking tags, and schedules content in Amplience platform.

  • Performs QA and validation for all launches of new content/functionality to websites from staging to production. Collaborates with teams to ensure all updates deliver the intended experience. Creates QA and validation checklists and proactively coordinates and communicates these activities with stakeholders.

  • Validates that creative aligns with design files, specific requests within the brief, and meets ADA and legal requirements.

  • Assists with configuration and testing of promotional functionality within the ecommerce site platform.

  • Updates site content status trackers and assists with cross-functional communications.

  • Executes various site updates to support corporate initiatives including but not limited to store requests, corporate information, dealer resources, etc.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

YOU ARE

  • Adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.

  • Must be an online shopper familiar with best practices in eCommerce experiences.

  • Must be extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, with strong initiative and sense of urgency.

  • An excellent communicator that can effectively collaborate and coordinate tasks/projects with key stakeholders across the company.

  • Highly proficient with technical tools and systems and all Microsoft Office applications.

YOUHAVE

  • Bachelor's degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience.

  • Typically requires less than 2 years of professional experience where knowledge base is generally acquired from a college degree or equivalent course experience.

  • Basic knowledge of Amplience or other digital content management systems, as well as navigating Figma to reference design files.

  • Basic knowledge of issue tracking and project management software experience tools such as Workfront, JIRA, Airtable.

  • Experience in a B2C, Omni-channel Retail environment is preferred.
