Information Security Risk Analyst

The Information Security Risk Analyst position will be a key member of the information security department. In this role you will represent our Information Security team with our key business and technology partners, ensuring that we are: aligned with our business and technology partners, governing our technology risk & operating within our risk tolerances.

Position Accountabilities

• Drive the evolution of our security and technology governance, interfacing with the technology-forward parts of our banking business

• Contribute to the ongoing information security initiatives and improvements development, implementation and maintenance of information security for the business

• Serves as an Information Security subject matter expert and partner with business and technology leadership in identifying information security risk and for the remediation, compliance and adoption of information security controls.

• Responsible for our information security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs

• Monitors information security trends internal and external to the bank and keeps LOB leadership informed about information security-related issues

• Manages reporting & quality control with key parts of our risk management functions

• Serve as key security architect for new technology initiatives

Organizational Relationship

This position reports to: The Chief Information Security Officer

Position Qualifications

Education & Experience

• 3 + years' experience as a security architect, with experience consulting with both business and technology owners on the planning and building of secure technology solutions.

• 2+ years' of risk management experience or direct participation in risk management processes

• Demonstrable experience (and especially in highly regulated entities), with Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance tasks and processes,

• Knowledge of corporate and technology governance, building and/or participating in third party and new technology risk assessment and governance processes,

• Experience in assessing and reporting on information risk

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance

• Ability to data visualizations using Microsoft PowerBI

• CISA / CISM / CISSP preferred
