The Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute (SSIHI), part of UCI Health and the Susan & Henry College of Health Sciences, works to transform healthcare through the practice of integrative health by conducting rigorous research, promoting evidence-based treatment modalities, educating the public on well-being practices, providing individualized, patient-centered clinical care, and providing services to the community that focus on obtaining optimal health. Your Role on the Team The Director of Health and Wellness Coaching independently oversees the Health and Wellness Coaching Program and serves as the primary representative and subject matter expert to faculty, staff, clinicians, and other university representatives as well as external stakeholders and leaders. The Director of Health and Wellness Coaching provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of program administration, finance, and contractual agreements to ensure alignment with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements. The Director supervises program staff, students, instructional faculty, and contracted instructors, including recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, and performance management. The Director leads the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of various program components, including curriculum, competencies, assessments, and learner support services, and teaches courses within the program as part of assigned responsibilities. Additionally, the director services as the principal liaison among faculty, leadership, contractors, administrators, and learners to support effective communication and program operations.
