SMH Level 4 RN Cardiac OR - Scrub/Circulate

Schedule: 12 hours shift - 7a to 7p

The Adult Cardiac OR cares for a wide variety of patients, including those undergoing CABGs, TAVIs, and treatments for heart failure (such as VADs, ECMO, artificial heart, and heart transplants). Using a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff cares for patients of all ages.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse who can independently scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac cases. This includes procedures such as CABGs, structural heart cases (Bentall), minimally invasive procedures (Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (Impella). Experience with transplant and TAVI/TAVR is preferred but not required.

• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Two (2) years of experience
• Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma center - preferred
• Able to circulate & scrub
• Telemetry experience

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
