Product Development Coordinator (Apparel / Consumer Products)

We're seeking a highly organized Product Development Coordinator to support the end-to-end development of products-from concept through sampling and production. This role is critical in keeping timelines on track, managing product data, and ensuring seamless coordination across global teams.

You'll work closely with Design, Merchandising, Planning, and Sourcing partners to bring products to life while maintaining accuracy, speed, and quality throughout the development process.

What You'll Do

  • Support the product development lifecycle, from concept through sample delivery and production readiness
  • Track and manage sample development, partnering with mills and vendors to ensure on-time delivery
  • Maintain and update time & action (T&A) calendars to ensure key milestones are met
  • Compile, enter, and analyze product costing data, identifying discrepancies and risks
  • Serve as a key point of contact for overseas sourcing teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication
  • Partner cross-functionally with Design, Merchandising, and Planning teams
  • Maintain accurate product data and documentation across systems and tools

What You Bring

  • Experience supporting product development, production, or sourcing workflows
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple products and timelines simultaneously
  • Experience with sample tracking, vendor coordination, or production calendars
  • Ability to work with and analyze costing data or product information
  • Strong communication skills, especially working with global or offshore teams
  • Proficiency with Excel or similar tracking tools (PLM/ERP systems a plus)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in apparel, footwear, or consumer goods industries
  • Familiarity with fabric sourcing, mills, or materials development
  • Exposure to PLM systems or product lifecycle tools
  • Understanding of production timelines and factory processes

Who You Are

  • Detail-oriented and process-driven, with strong follow-through
  • A proactive communicator who can coordinate across teams and time zones
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • A collaborative team player with a problem-solving mindset
  • Able to identify and escalate risks, delays, or inconsistencies early
