ABOUT THE ROLE
The Talent Acquisition & Diversity Partner will partner with company hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the workforce and to recruit the best talent available for current and upcoming opportunities. The TA&D Partner will nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage on-going manager relationships across the organization. With roots dating to 1891 and 8,500+ employees, MYR Group Inc. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and prospective talent to build the reputation and skills of a true Talent Acquisition Business Partner; guide and coach hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and applicants are assessed against appropriate criteria, and to maximize effectiveness of the recruiting process
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their business and recruitment needs, including long term talent pipelining needs, and fill their open positions in a timely manner
- Responsible for full life cycle recruiting process for identified roles, partnering with leaders across the organization for exempt and non-exempt positions; manage candidates through the entire interview and hiring process, from assessing candidate qualifications, arranging interviews, to negotiating offers
- Effectively utilize and maintain all pertinent application, interview documentation, and data in applicant tracking system
- Develop recruitment strategies to include internet job boards, networking, resume mining, social networking, campaigns, internal transfers, and other channels to attract a diverse pool of candidates utilizing the most cost-effective methods and techniques to meet staffing levels; partner with marketing team as needed
- Support TA special projects such as the employee referral program, third party staffing agency program, campus recruiting (including high schools, college, and trade schools), or recruitment marketing projects
- Support the execution of activities, hiring best practices, and training that reinforces inclusive company culture and helps to achieve DE&I objectives. Will be a lead in at least one DEI focus area for the company and a liaison to our business leaders for topics related to DEI
- Actively participate in all staffing-related activities and engage in cross-functional projects

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a prior recruiting or talent acquisition role is required
- Minimum of 2 years prior leadership or coaching experience is required (school, sports, volunteer activities, or workplace experience)
- Prior experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required
Preferred Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related field; a combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong customer focus and effective use of consultative approach with internal clients
- Demonstrated ability to interface with senior level executives, hiring managers and candidates
- Capable of handling extremely confidential and sensitive information
- Self-starter with a curious mindset, capable of assessing situations and prospective talent to identify potential job matches
- Ability to work within a team environment with a collaborative approach and independently with minimal supervision on assignments
- Skilled at multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent ability to learn and follow recruitment related compliance regulations
- Ability to source resumes from multiple sources and conduct internet research preferred
- Good understanding of the recruitment cycle from start to end
- Possess proficient computer skills (including MS Office/Word/Outlook) and skilled with web-based software and social media platforms
- Occasional travel for career fairs and other recruiting efforts may be required

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary $60,000-$85,000 / year
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
