How You'll Make a Difference

The Manager, Engagement & Enablement plays a critical role in activating PMI's thought leadership through people, partnerships, and platforms. This role is responsible for building and stewarding networks of subject matter experts, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring PMI's research and insights are adopted, amplified, and localized across regions, communities, enterprises, and external ecosystems.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (communications, business, public policy, international relations, or related field).
  • 7+ years of experience in engagement, partnerships, enablement, stakeholder management, or thought leadership-related roles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing external relationships, partnerships, or contributor networks.
  • Experience designing and delivering events, programs, or executive-facing engagements.
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations or global environments.
  • Experience leading teams or project-based contributors across geographies.
  • Familiarity with project management, sustainability, AI, or professional services domains a plus.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with a systems-level view of engagement and activation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence without authority across functions and regions
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and managing multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Strong organizational and portfolio management skills
  • Confident facilitator and presenter with executive presence
  • Collaborative, diplomatic, and externally oriented
  • Fluent in English (PMI's business language), fluency in other languages strongly preferred
