This company is renowned for its commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across its vast operational footprint. Joining this team means contributing to a mission-critical function that directly impacts operational efficiency and customer trust.

Are you a strategic procurement professional ready to make a significant impact? We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join a pivotal supply chain team. In this role, you won't just manage transactions; you'll be a key driver of strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless operations for customer care and aftermarket services. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the procurement and launch readiness for critical components across major product launches, with a primary focus on high-priority, high-volume key supplier programs.
  • Maintain business continuity by managing dual responsibilities, encompassing both initial order and service buyer functions across diverse component categories.
  • Lead the onboarding and operational development of critical new suppliers for customer care and aftermarket operations, ensuring full alignment on internal operational processes and corporate packaging expectations from the ground up.
  • Conduct detailed packaging cost and waste minimization analyses across suppliers to identify bottom-line savings.
  • Design and implement enhanced categorization methods and advanced analytical tools to evaluate packaging trends across major part groups.
  • Lead packaging audit initiatives and cross-supplier comparison frameworks to establish negotiation benchmarks for future sourcing cycles.
  • Partner with Packaging Engineers and Service Buyers to resolve complex packaging discrepancies, eliminate launch roadblocks, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform extensive auditing and corrective action on contracts of varying ages to resolve deep-seated discrepancies and data gaps.
  • Investigate and correct contract date errors that impact supplier payment streams; lead retroactive payment reviews to restore supplier goodwill and operational integrity.
  • Manage complex pricing and contract updates across distinct regional business entities (e.g., US and Canada), navigating workflows that deviate from standard procurement templates.
  • Collaborate directly with the central supply chain team to enhance visibility into critical expedite requests.
  • Utilize advanced reporting tools to proactively monitor expedite indicators, directly resolving urgent critical service parts requests and backorder requirements to minimize vehicle downtime for end customers.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to strengthen data integrity and accelerate responsiveness to internal and external stakeholders.
