Description
Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Project Manager with experience managing and executing industrial water and wastewater design projects in Brown and Caldwell's Private Sector Business Unit. In this role, the Project Manager will utilize design and project management expertise to deliver high quality design projects within budget and on schedule. Specific work may include managing facility planning, design, construction engineering, and other tasks on current and future projects. The Project Manager will lead the planning, scheduling, and delivery of complex design projects for industrial water and wastewater systems. The role is responsible for developing and executing detailed project plans that address quality management, schedule and milestones, resource allocation, and budget. The Project Manager will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to lead the projects, monitor progress, identify risks or potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. Success in this position requires familiarity with design in the industrial water industry. This role will collaborate with the Private Sector Business Unit Portfolio Design Manager, Portfolio Design Leads, and Chief Engineer to lead the execution of best delivery practices and recommended design delivery approaches for our industrial clients. Client service and support for marketing and proposals will also be included in this role. Job Summary The Project Manager role works to plan, execute, and oversee projects to completed on time, within budget, while meeting quality standards and health and safety requirements. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, set objectives, allocate resources, and develop detailed project plans. The role monitors progress, manages risks and change, resolves challenges, and communicates with stakeholders to provide regular updates. The role typically manages mid-sized to large projects and is expected to independently deliver results with minimal supervision, while progressively increasing revenue responsibility. Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.
