A Taste of What You'll Do

Join Gallo's Glass Maintenance Internship Program and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment where innovation, problem-solving, and operational excellence come together. As a Maintenance Operations Intern, you will work alongside experienced Maintenance Technicians and Team Leads within Gallo Glass, learning how maintenance plays a critical role in keeping equipment safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance.

Throughout this 6-month internship, you will contribute to meaningful projects while developing practical skills in equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and facility operations. You'll have the opportunity to participate in machinery diagnostics, assist with repairs, and support initiatives that improve equipment readiness and reliability.

You'll also gain exposure to environmental and sustainability efforts by learning about utilities, wastewater generation, water consumption, and other operational processes within the glass manufacturing environment. Working collaboratively with maintenance professionals, you'll share observations, support continuous improvement efforts, and strengthen your technical and professional skills while building a foundation for a future career in engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing operations.

What You'll Need



  • Currently enrolled at a college or university working towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or Engineering/Industrial Technology; OR a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Engineering/Industrial Technology.
  • Available for the entire duration of this internship program -July-December 2027.
  • Requires availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.


How You'll Stand Out



  • Junior or Senior class standing at a college or university working towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial/Engineering Technology.
  • Strong analytical problem-solver, process focused and leadership skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and skilled in managing multiple assignments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access), to include data manipulation and analysis; experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.

  • The Company does not sponsor for employment-based visas for this position now or in the future.
  • We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
  • This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
