Essential Functions

Pay Range: $89,750.00 - $112,175.00


  • Oversee proper bird placements at the ranch level to support production goals and bird performance.
  • Manage fryer ranch appearance, clean-up, set-up activities, and overall ranch maintenance both inside and outside facilities.
  • Coordinate and monitor rice hull and shavings deliveries, shipments, and inventory levels.
  • Direct all operations of the Collier Warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control, cost efficiency, and material availability.
  • Lead and develop supervisors, foremen, and lead personnel to meet annual production schedule requirements.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with grow-out, disease prevention, biosecurity, and quality assurance programs.
  • Communicate critical operational information with technical, administrative, service, and production management teams to support decision-making and optimize bird performance.
  • Monitor and control warehouse, rice hull, and shavings inventories while maintaining budget and cost targets.
  • Manage and maintain an efficient brooder crew, emphasizing safety, productivity, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Oversee fryer ranch facilities, equipment, and grounds maintenance, including landscaping and appearance standards.
  • Promote workplace safety through vehicular, industrial safety, and maintenance awareness programs.
  • Foster positive employee relations and maintain strong partnerships with company personnel, growers, vendors, and community stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development, budgeting, forecasting, and submission of proposals for fryer and production facility operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and production performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.


Additional Functions

Responsible for an annual production cost budget of $60,000,000+.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in animal science, Agribusiness, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of production supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Highly self-motivated, assertive, objective, and resourceful.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to follow, enforce, and support all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
