Salary range:
A reasonable estimate for this position is $73,817 - $80,664 . The posted salary rate range is for a full-time 100% appointment. Salary will be prorated based on the percent of appointment for part-time lecturer positions. Applicants may apply to teach one or more courses. This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement Courses to be filled include: 1. AAS 123 "The Black Female Experience"
2. AAS 083 "Black Food Politics"
Qualifications A Ph.D. is preferred, but we welcome candidates who are ABD, hold an M.A. degree in a related field, and/or who have previous experience teaching at the college/university level. Salary The posted salary range is for a 100% appointment for a Unit 18 Lecturer, which is based on teaching an average of 6 classes per quarter. The average expected appointment for this position may be 42-50% over one quarter. Payment for teaching an individual course is a fraction of this salary range based on the student enrollment of the class.
