Position Summary

The Digital and IT Analyst defines, configures, tests, trains and supports business-related information technology requirements and systems. Leads limited scope projects using information technology to enable business improvement and perform critical analysis under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provides analytical advice and direction for application and technology that impacts business operations; Understands how applications and technologies impact the business
  • Analyze and apply Enterprise data to make recommendations / modifications to streamline & simplify processes while reducing operating costs
  • Develops and deploys appropriate Digital and Information Technology solutions
  • Establishes and develops procedures for proper utilization of Digital and IT technology
  • Develops and delivers training to support process changes and new technology introductions
  • Evaluates and modifies existing technology to allow for changes in business requirements or equipment configurations
  • Overnight travel to remote locations to assist in the implementation of technical solutions as needed
  • Provide after-hour technical support as needed
  • Assist in training and mentoring new team members

This position may be assigned (but is not limited to) one of the following key information technology disciplines and/or services:

  • Application Programming
  • Software Support
  • Database Administration
  • PC Support
  • LAN/WAN Support
  • Help Desk
  • Engineering Systems
  • IT Security
  • Business Systems (MSS, JDE, SAP or other related technology)

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related area(or international equivalent)
* 2+years related IT experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
* Excellent written and verbal communicationand collaborationskills
* Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability
* Strong interpersonal skills, relates well with all levels of the organization
* Ability to establish own prioritiesand adapt tochanging priorities
* Demonstrates ability to manage projects
