Description

UCLA Health is seeking an experienced and passionate Pulmonary Function and Ambulatory Clinics Manager to lead pulmonary diagnostic and respiratory care operations across our growing ambulatory network. This highly visible leadership position oversees Pulmonary Function Laboratories, ambulatory respiratory testing programs, and outpatient respiratory services, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, efficiency, and patient-centered care.

As a strategic leader, you'll guide multidisciplinary teams, champion process improvement initiatives, support program expansion, and help shape the future of pulmonary care delivery across UCLA Health. You'll partner closely with physicians, nursing leadership, clinical engineering, infection prevention, and operational teams to create seamless, high-quality experiences for both patients and staff.

Salary Range: $119,700 - $272,700/annually

Qualifications
We're seeking a talented leader with:
Required:
  • Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) credential
  • A Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years in a RT leadership role
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Pulmonary Function Testing, ambulatory respiratory services, or respiratory therapy operations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of pulmonary diagnostics, blood gas analysis, respiratory equipment, and outpatient respiratory workflows
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission, CLIA, CAP, DPH, and other regulatory/accreditation requirements
  • Experience with staff onboarding, competency validation, education, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across the health system
Preferred:
  • Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) credential
  • A Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Respiratory Therapy, Business Administration, Computer Technology, or related field
  • Experience with electronic medical records and healthcare information systems
