Senior Full Stack Developer – (job location is New York, NY; employer is MEMX LLC) - Lead the development and maintenance of full stack web applications that support our stock exchange operations, performing the following specific duties: Conduct research and work with Product Managers and stakeholders to fully understand the complexities of the financial and trading markets in which the exchange operates and how our broader system design and applications satisfy distinct needs for high-performance, low latency trading systems for those markets. Anticipate future requirements of exchange users and recommend technical enhancements to product offerings. Lead team of experienced, high-performance developers to design and architect best-in-class systems. Provide guidance, training and mentorship to more junior developers on exchange operations. Partner with security and compliance teams to implement controls that meet strict financial industry requirements, including secure handling of PII and transactional data. Work with Systems and Networking teams on effective deployment patterns to achieve desired performance and redundancy metrics. Requirements: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, plus three years of experience in the offered position or another full stack developer role or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, plus five years of post-Bachelor’s progressive experience in the offered position or another full stack developer role. All required experience must have included developing and maintaining full stack web application in financial exchange environment; developing AI-driven system that automatically scrapes and processes regulatory content from NASDAQ and CBOE, including web scraping and generating custom circulars based on the processed regulatory content; developing and automating secure file transfer application including design and implementation of SFTP-based delivery systems for transmitting finance files to OCC and DTCC; developing backend services using Node.js and Express.js including building RESTful APIs and automation scripts; building user interfaces with React.js following modern front-end architecture, including creation of reusable components, state management and integration with backend APIs; and deploying, maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting production systems. #LI-DNI.
