What to Expect

The Optimus electronics team needs a Technical Program Manager to drive controller and PCBA hardware from prototype through design release and into builds. You will own schedules, risks, and decisions across electrical, mechanical, firmware, test, sourcing, and manufacturing. The pace is high. The work is physical: board spins, CM fab, DFM, bring-up, lab builds, and factory cut-in. If you have shipped PCBAs or electronic controllers with cross-functional teams, come join us.

What You'll Do
  • Own end-to-end program execution for Optimus electronics controllers and their PCBAs - from schematic / layout freeze through fab, DFM, bring-up, design release, NPI and mass production
  • Run a single schedule and risk picture across EE, ME, firmware, integration, test, EMC, sourcing, and NPI. Unblock PCBA design release and DFM gates; keep board CMs and internal teams on the same facts
  • Drive alignment on controller interfaces (power, high-speed, noise-sensitive, on-robot / off-robot). Turn open questions into owners, dates, and written decisions
  • Coordinate board builds and trial lots: priorities, material, CM throughput, and issues that would slip the next hardware drop
  • Keep program status, specs, and action trackers current so engineering and leadership can decide the same day

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, equivalent experience
  • 2+ years owning PCBA or electronic-controller programs
  • Direct experience delivering PCBA and/or electronic controllers (for example ECU, MCU board, motor / inverter / body / domain / compute controller) with engineering and a board CM (contract manufacture)
  • Evidence you can run multiple workstreams at once, write a crisp status, and escalate before a date slips
  • Robotics, automotive, consumer electronics, medical device, or aerospace controller / avionics programs experience preferred
  • PCBA design release, DFM, ECO, SMT process, ICT / FCT, or production cut-in with an EMS / board CM experience preferred
  • Low-voltage distribution, power electronics, EMC, or board bring-up. Harness, sensor, or actuator work that interfaces to a controller experience preferred
  • Jira and Confluence. ECAD (Altium or similar) or CAD is a plus, not a gate experience preferred
