Executive Director, Infrastructure Operations– (job location is New York, NY; employer is Banco Santander, S.A.) - Responsible for the overall management and support of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) U.S. infrastructure operations governance including virtualization platforms, cloud-based servers, information architecture, enterprise storage solutions, end-point device management and desktop strategies, local and wide area network, operating systems, system administration, voice services, security, and data center infrastructure and services. Control and monitor day-to-day IT operations, change management, deployment and systems management. Drive architecture approaches and processes to ensure operational efficiency and IT security. Manage and align infrastructure processes for various events such as establishment of new trading floors or cross-bank integrations after a merger. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics or Physics, plus 2 years of experience in the position offered or as Director, VP or Senior Analyst in the banking/financial sector. All required experience must have included: building and managing technology infrastructure and operational environments for large global corporate bank’s corporate and investment banking division; managing the alignment of technology infrastructure with global and local regulations; coordinating reporting for regulators and external/internal parties over the infrastructure domains within the enterprise; managing end-to-end risk across infrastructure domains within the enterprise; coordinating audits end-to-end; overseeing assurance, assessment, enforcement and upgrades to technology infrastructure enterprise policies; defining and implementing key performance and risk indicators; employing knowledge across infrastructure domains including hardening, obsolescence, end user computing, project management, operating systems, and databases; and working with configuration management database (CMDB), ServiceNow, Ansible/Qualys, Datacenter networks and technology profile inventories. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. #LI-DNI. Salary: $175,450-$205,000/year.
