Analyst

 Analyst – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Walleye Capital LLC) – Work closely with the Portfolio Manager on all aspects of the investment process, including conducting quantitative financial research and analysis on investment ideas, building and maintaining detailed financial models, meeting with the investment management teams, and attending financial investment industry conferences. Identify monetizable insights by conducting in-depth industry and company-specific research. Present financial investment findings in the form of long and short investment ideas to the Portfolio Manager. Attend industry conferences and management meetings to monitor, aggregate, and synthesize important news and developments. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Economics Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or as a Research Analyst, Growth Analyst, or in a related role. Two (2) years of the required experience must have included experience with: software-sector valuation, integrating revenue and profitability drivers with stock prices; synthesizing product launches, unit economics, and software architecture with macro drivers to identify market opportunities; analyzing different pricing schemes for consumption-based managed software products; modeling revenue impact and margin sensitivity for new pricing structures using simulations, LTV/CAC analysis and usage-forecasting tied to cloud infrastructure costs; performing cross-sector thematic research to evaluate secular technology adoption curves; applying back-office data infrastructure and front-office platforms to integrate investment data, client behavior, and distribution analytics across the investment lifecycle; and translating qualitative insights from industry experts to quantitative investment models and recommendations.
