Gen AI Front End Engineer

Aquent is partnering with a major Healthcare company to find a GenAI Front-End Engineer for a Temporary opportunity. In this high-impact role, you will build reusable, embedded conversational and analytics experiences that seamlessly integrate across diverse host products. If you are excited to shape enterprise-grade Generative AI, SDK design, and micro-frontend architectures to transform healthcare operations, this role is for you.

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
• Be able to work on a W-2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position)

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement embedded AI experiences, micro-frontends, and reusable SDKs that host applications can consume.
• Design robust integration APIs, contracts, callbacks, events, and versioned interfaces to capture host context (e.g., active page, filters, selected objects, user actions).
• Build streaming, multi-turn Generative AI interfaces complete with clarification flows, conversation history, and rich error handling.
• Render structured responses within the conversational UI, including interactive tables, charts, citations, and reusable analytics widgets.
• Integrate REST and streaming APIs while handling complex authentication patterns and token management securely.
• Collaborate across cross-functional product teams to ensure seamless deployment and reliable operation of UI services within host applications.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong production experience with React and TypeScript.
• Proven track record of embedding UIs, micro-frontends, or UI services within external host applications.
• Hands-on experience capturing active host-application context, state, and user actions dynamically.
• Demonstrated capability building multi-turn GenAI streaming interfaces, complete with rich UI elements (tables, charts, citations).
• Experience integrating REST APIs, streaming responses, and managing token authentication.
• Ability to work remote on Pacific Time hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building reusable UI SDKs or shared component libraries adopted by multiple application teams.
• Hands-on experience with micro-frontends, Web Components, Module Federation, or secure iframe patterns.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients, embedded analytics, or enterprise copilot solutions.
• Experience with AWS, Amazon Bedrock, and AgentCore-backed applications.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $74.93-$83.25/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
