Davidson Kempner Capital Management, L.P. seeks a Developer in New York, NY to develop, implement, enhance, and maintain in-house software and technology solutions to support the firm’s accounting and finance functions. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent and three (3) years of experience developing reusable cloud-based technology solutions, including containerization and deployments on serverless architectures; designing and implementing framework modules including data pipelines within cloud data platforms, including Databricks or Snowflake to support financial services use cases; building CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds and deployments to cloud environments; performing SQL Server development for data queries and updates, integrating user-facing technologies, including Angular, React, REST services, and Web APIs; developing APIs using caching frameworks, including Redis to enable low latency data retrieval; utilizing .Net Core/.Net Framework and C# programming, including advanced multi-threading concepts including Concurrent Collections and Task Parallel Library; creating Python-based data pipelines to extract, prepare, and transform data for reporting and analytics; and providing production support for trading systems and developing software applications built on portfolio data. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Salary Range: $215,000.00 –$249,999.99/year.
