Responsibilities What does the Chief Radiation Therapist do? The Chief Radiation Therapist is responsible for the planning, coordination and evaluation of the technical staff. Interacts and directs the radiation therapists and CT simulation technicians in order to effectively deliver a high-quality radiation therapy treatment course for each patient presented. May perform the duties of radiation therapist and mold technicians up to 20% of the time in order to maintain a high-quality care environment. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. The essential duties and responsibilities:
