Salary Range: 80,000 - 100,000

Summary: The trainer/instructor will facilitate scenario development and implementation in support of 30th Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Brigade (BDE) Air Defense Airspace Management / Brigade Aviation Element (ADAM/BAE) Cell Air to Ground Integration course. Work is performed on-site and Fort Sill, Oklahoma

Job Description:



  • Generate through simulation, Standard Interface for Multiple Platform Evaluation, Radar Element Subsystem, Joint Range Extension Application Protocol C, and 6017A Variable Message Format architectures simultaneously.
  • Simulate multiple radars (AWACS, TPS-75, etc.) providing the top-down "Joint" view.
  • Generate through simulation multiple radars, Sentinels, Q- 36/37, Light Weight Counter Mortar Radar, to provide the "local" air picture and Rocket Artillery Mortar (RAM) tactical data to include air platforms; Fixed Wing, Rotary Wing, Unmanned Airial Systems (UAS), RAM, Theatre Ballistic Missile, with use of Identify Friend or Foe, and positive and procedural airspace control methods.
  • Provide simulation air tracks and radars populating the Air Defense System Integrator (ADSI), and Forward Area Air Defense Command and Control systems tactically and simultaneously with air platforms and RAM data.
  • Provide a means to support dynamic injection of Rockets, Artillery and Mortars and air platforms to support dynamic re-tasking, on the "fly" changes, to include track identification and track management training.
  • Provide 6017A protocol for Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) Fires solutions generation to support airspace control and airspace clearance processes supporting Fires and Protection War-Fighting functions.
  • Manage internal web site(s) used for the ADAM/BAE Cell course
  • Perform Systems Engineering principles to resolve complex Computer Systems issues.
  • Provide network management, tactical air-track stimulation, digital scenario, sustainment, and maintenance support on networks and networking equipment.
  • Assess and incorporate new technologies into the existing design and simulation toolsets.
  • Provide detailed Ground Tactical Plan and Concept of Operations briefs for air mission planning and unit airspace plan development.
  • Operate an AFATDS and a Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) during ADAM/BAE systems integration and operations training.
  • Deliver Field Artillery Fires, Airspace Command and Control and Airspace Integration White Cell support during course execution using tactical chat and voice.
  • Facilitate After-Action Reviews following each Situational Training Exercise
  • Create and manage user friendly scenario generation, display maps, Digital terrain Elevation Data, unit graphics, Operational Tasking Data Link, Fragmentary Orders, Fire Missions, Friction Points, Air Movement Requests, Handouts, Student Guide etc.
  • Create and manage Air Control Orders and Air Tasking Orders in support of scenario development.


Experience, Education, Certifications Requirements:



  • Minimum of (8) years' experience with any combination of Sentinel Radar, ADAM, and ADAM/BAE operations. Bachelor's Degree in Internet Technology or Computer Systems Engineering from accredited institutions will equate to (2) years of experience.
  • Combat experience as an Army OH-58 or AH 64 pilot and perform primary instruction for Aviation training for a BAE assigned to an Army Brigade Combat Team. Instruction will include UAS, Aviation attack, reconnaissance, assault, and MEDEVAC and Joint Fires planning and integration concepts in support of an Army Brigade Combat Team.
  • Instructor qualified.
  • Subject matter expertise in tactical systems such as the ADSI, Air and Missile Defense Workstation, FAAD, TAIS, and AFATDS,
  • Familiar with UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
  • Proof of experience must be presented in any form or combination of DD Form 214, ERB, ORB, ATTARS Training Transcript, NCOER, certificates of training, or Course Graduation Diplomas.
