From your PASSION to ours The HR Training & Development Intern will assist the Human Resources Department with various Training & Development assignments and projects within Lactalis American Group (LAG). The HR T&D Intern will support a team of HR professionals with projects in the areas of developing and updating documentation, assisting with New Hire Orientation and employee follow up, assist with training and job validations, assist with training system implementation, assist with succession planning, filing and scanning of documents and other capacities of Human Resources. From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include: * Develop and update training & development documentation, including SOPs and Job Task Lists, Training and Pay Grids * Assist with New Hire Orientation and employee follow-up meetings * Assist with employee training and job validations * Assist with implementation of training system (Alchemy Playbook & Coach) * Assist with succession planning, coaching & development and documentation * Training follow-up and validation * Attend meetings as needed * Filing and scanning documents * Other projects as assigned Requirements From your STORY to ours * Qualified applicants will contribute the following: Education * Current college student in their sophomore year or greater, working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business with a concentration in HR Management or Training & Development Experience * Previous experience working with human resources or company training preferred * Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred Specialized Knowledge * Basic understanding of human resources and training & development concepts and topics * Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Skills/Abilities * Familiarity with computer operation * Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive HR information The ideal candidate will be proactive and dynamic, flexible and receptive to new ideas, down to earth and pragmatic, analytical and attentive to detail. They will also be capable of working independently in adherence to regulations, of managing stress and remaining calm under pressure, and be able to demonstrate an inquiring mind and well-developed observational skills. Will demonstrate a sense of responsibility and high professional standards, honesty and integrity, and objectivity. Possess values of ambition and engagement, with simplicity. Pay: $16.50 per hour. Hours: Hours can be flexible and may vary depending upon school schedule. Part-time during the school year; full-time during summer. |
