The Supply Chain (SC) Business Process Owner (BPO) is a key position within LUSA Transformation Management Office, responsible for driving change and delivering value. The SC BPO is responsible for managing and optimizing the Supply Chain processes within the SAP system. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure business operations processes are aligned with SAP Core Model design and Lactalis corporate goals. This role involves ensuring that SAP Core Model Supply Chain modules operate efficiently and effectively, aligning with business requirements and compliance standards. The SAP SC BPO will lead process improvement initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide expert guidance on SAP Supply Chain functionalities.

Function Challenges: The Lactalis Group has embarked on an enterprise processes standardization strategy that requires successful implementation of the "Lactalis Integrated System" (L.I.S.) program, based on SAP Core Model and a suite of integrated applications. This role requires a strong understanding of Financial Management best practices, ERP systems, and BPO operations.

  • Lactalis American Group Supply Chain Business Area team(s) - Demand Planning & Forecasting, Order Fulfilment, Customer Service & Support, Materials Management, Transportation & Logistics, Warehousing & Storage, Returns Management, Compliance Management.
  • Information System - LIS Technical Program Manager
  • BPO Core Model O2C in Laval France
  • BPOs of other Streams in the US
  • LIS Roll Out manager of the different divisions in the US
  • IT Teams (Internal & external service providers)

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

SAP Process Management:

  • Ensure the adoption of the processes defined in the Core Model and propose continuous improvement and optimization in their business area.
  • Oversee and manage end-to-end Supply Chain processes within the SAP Core Model, including modules such as Demand & Supply Planning, Warehouse Management, Logistics Management, Order to Cash, Transportation Management, Customer Service, Master Data, and others as relevant.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and ensure adherence to standardized procedures.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including corporate and USIT, and other business units to align LIS Core Model Supply Chain processes with organizational objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Supply Chain -related SAP process issues and inquiries.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather input and provide updates on process improvements.

System Enhancement and Integration:

  • Partner with IT to evaluate and implement LIS Core Model and tools
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP with other enterprise systems.
  • Monitor system performance and address any issues that impact financial processes.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure financial processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure process integrity and accuracy.

Training and Development:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for Supply Chain team members and other stakeholders on new processes and systems.
  • Support continuous learning and development within the Supply Chain team to foster a culture of process improvement.

Performance Measurement:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of financial processes.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on process performance and improvement initiatives.
Requirements

From your STORY to ours

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., SAP Supply Chain Management, CSCP, CPIM, CLTD , SCPro) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain, with at least 3 years in SAP Supply Chain Suite in S/4HANA implementation role.
  • Mastery of Supply Chain processes - Demand Planning and Forecasting, Inventory Management, Manufacturing and Production, Warehousing and Storage, Transportation and Logistics, Customer Service and Support, Supply Chain Planning, Returns Management (Reverse Logistics), Supply Chain Risk Management, Procurement and Sourcing
  • Integration challenges of an ERP
  • Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to travel 50% domestically.
