Child Development Lab in the College of Education and Human Development. Job Description
Serve as a Child Development Assistant in a university-based early childhood preschool program. The Child Development Assistant would primarily be responsible for the care and education of preschoolers, cover teacher breaks; and ensure supportive communication with parents. The Child Development Assistant is expected to collaborate with the teaching team, other faculty, and practicum students to execute a program that is developmentally sound, multi-culturally relevant, and sensitive to the range of individual differences reflected in our student, staff, and family populations. The person needs to be able to multi-task, make quick yet sound decisions according to policies and procedures, and considerable judgment and discretion is required. This position will report to the CDL Director. The CDL is part of the Department of Human Development and Family Science within the College of Education and Human Development. Shift

An Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and some experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
