Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Services Engineer to support the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

WORK LOCATION: Hanscom, AFB, MA

JOB STATUS: Full-Time; salaried; Hybrid

RESPONSBILITIES:

This program is looking for Distribution Services Engineers who possess the following skillsets/experience:

• Power

• HVAC

• Inside-Outside network plant (fiber-copper)

The candidate should also have in-depth knowledge and skill with the following:

• Applying engineering theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods sufficient to extend or modify theories, concepts, and assumptions

• Resolve unique or novel problems, conditions, or issues, or significantly alter standard practices, equipment, devices, processes, and known techniques

• Provide expert advice to professional colleagues and/or agency officials responsible for broad program operations

• Provide significant and innovative recommendations for advancing programs and/or methods

• Execute significant projects representing an important segment of the agency's operating programs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree and and 15 years of experience, of which 5 year must be in the DoD
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
• Candidate will also need strong organizational skills.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must have an active US security clearance.
